I architect high-stakes decisions.

I’m Barbara Harrington, synthetic organic chemist turned Decision Architect and creator of The Elizabeth Effect™.

I’ve watched versions of this pattern in women for over 35 years, first beside them at the bench, now across the table. Brilliant women. Deep expertise. Clear insight. Still circling the move.

My background includes Ciba-Geigy, Novartis, pharmaceutical consulting, neuroscience-based coaching methodologies, and decades of work with accomplished professionals. I bring those tools into a broader Decision Intelligence and Decision Architecture process for high-stakes decisions.

Confidence was not the real problem.

After losing a role deeply tied to her identity, Christie wanted to build a new chapter as a children’s author. She had talent, intelligence, and passion, yet kept circling.

As she learned to recognize when protection was shaping the decision, her actions changed. During a physically difficult season that included multiple back surgeries, she published a second children’s book, created companion journals, hosted her first book signing, designed reader experiences, and began writing her third book.
